MMEC Welcomes James Chew of Intel to its Board of Directors

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Dayton, OH, March 11, 2026: The MMEC today announced the appointment of James Chew, Vice President and General Manager, Intel Government Technology, to its Board of Directors. Chew brings decades of experience in advanced semiconductor technology, manufacturing, and ecosystem collaboration that will further strengthen MMEC’s mission to accelerate national security through trusted, domestic microelectronics innovation.

In his role at Intel, Chew has led initiatives spanning advanced process technologies, supply chain strategy, and partnerships critical to scaling next-generation semiconductor capabilities. His perspective across commercial and government-aligned programs will support MMEC’s efforts to bridge lab-to-fab-to-mission and market, while reinforcing resilient U.S.-based microelectronics supply chains.
