MMEC Opportunities

The Midwest Microelectronics Consortium (MMEC) fosters collaboration across industry, government, and academia to accelerate lab-to-fab- mission market innovation for the benefit of our members while serving the warfighter and our national security interests. We partner with our members to pursue opportunities under the Microelectronics Commons program as well as other Federal and private sector sponsored research projects. Our members can leverage our program expertise, secure digital and physical infrastructure, and workforce development programs to ensure the submission competitive and compelling proposals. Please join the MMEC and contact us regarding opportunities listed here or to discuss other opportunity pursuits.

Submit Your Abstract

The MMEC supports our members with a wide range of services focused on advancing microelectronic technologies, accelerating domestic prototyping, and developing products in support of the warfighter and commercial applications. Members that have identified a...

Microelectronics Commons Program

The Microelectronics Commons is a CHIPS and Science Act-funded national network for onshore, microelectronics hardware-focused prototyping, laboratory to fabrication (lab-to fab) transition of semiconductor technologies and semiconductor workforce training. In 2023, the Department of Defense (DoD) established the Microelectronics Commons – a network of eight regional Hubs to evolve laboratory prototypes to fabrication prototypes and to strengthen the semiconductor workforce.

MUTUAL NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT

As a MMEC member it is required that a, Mutual Nondisclosure Agreement (MNDA) MNDA between the MMEC and your organization and all project performers is in place BEFORE a project can be submitted to the government. The MMEC MNDA is available for download provided in the “DOWNLOAD MNDA” link below. Please review, sign the MNDA and upload to the link “UPLOAD NDA”.
