FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Dayton, OH, April 29, 2026: The MMEC today announced the appointment of Dr. John M. Horack, Vice President for Research and leader for the Enterprise for Research, Innovation and Knowledge at The Ohio State University, to its Board of Directors.
Dr. Horack brings extensive experience in research leadership, innovation ecosystems, and cross-sector collaboration to MMEC’s governing body. In his role at Ohio State, he leads one of the nation’s largest and most comprehensive research enterprises, driving strategic initiatives that accelerate discovery, commercialization, and workforce development. These key priorities are strategically aligned with MMEC’s mission to strengthen the U.S. microelectronics ecosystem.
